Honeypot Commands

Turn one tempting channel into a quiet trap for spam and raid bots. Beacon deletes the trigger message and can ban, kick, or timeout the user.

How it works

Choose a decoy channel, configure the moderation action, and post the panel. Normal members can leave it alone; a bot that sends a message triggers Beacon immediately.

1

Setup

Run /honeypot-setup to choose the protected channel and default action.

2

Configure

Use /honeypot-configure to update protection, delete-message behavior, and moderation response.

3

Protect

Beacon watches the channel and records the current ban count in the panel.

/honeypot-setup

Open the Components V2 setup flow and choose a protected channel.

Panel
/honeypot-configure

Update the channel, moderation action, enabled state, or message cleanup.

Manage
/honeypot-disable

Disable the trap while preserving the saved configuration for later.
