1. What actually runs
Beacon currently uses no non-essential analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or tracking cookies. The website uses browser storage only for the selected language and for technically necessary login/session behavior when you sign in with Discord.
2. Necessary storage

Storage access is governed by § 25(1) TDDDG. The exception in § 25(2) applies where storage is strictly necessary to provide the service expressly requested by you or to transmit a communication.
3. Third-party links
Discord authentication, Google Fonts and links to Discord, NxtByte or other external services are third-party requests or destinations. They are not Beacon analytics. Once you use an external service, that provider's privacy and cookie rules apply. Beacon does not control storage set by that provider.
4. No consent banner for current setup
Because Beacon does not currently load non-essential measurement or advertising technologies, there is no optional tracking category to accept. If this changes, Beacon will obtain consent before loading non-essential storage and will identify the provider, purpose, duration and withdrawal mechanism.
5. Your controls
You can inspect or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing necessary storage may sign you out or reset your language preference. Questions can be sent to help@beacon-bot.site.
