End User License Agreement
Last updated: September 4, 2026
1. License
Beacon grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to use the Beacon website, bot, dashboard, APIs and documentation for lawful Discord community operations. This is a license, not a sale of software or intellectual property.
2. Restrictions
You may not sublicense, resell, misrepresent, bypass access controls, attack the service, distribute malware, or copy or reverse engineer Beacon except where mandatory law expressly permits it. Discord platform terms continue to apply.
3. Third-party components
Discord names and platform features belong to their owners. Open-source components may be governed by their own licenses; those licenses control where they grant broader rights.
4. Updates and termination
We may patch, replace, restrict or retire parts of Beacon for security, maintenance, Discord changes or product development. The license ends when you stop using Beacon, remove the bot, or access is suspended or terminated.
5. Warranty and liability
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, Beacon is provided as available. Beacon is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, liability under the Product Liability Act, and culpable breach of essential contractual obligations. For slight negligence involving essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded where legally permissible. This does not restrict any liability that cannot legally be restricted.
6. Related terms
